Georgia Department
of Technical and Adult Education (DTAE) - The Georgia
Department of Technical and Adult Education oversees the state's
system of technical colleges, the adult literacy program, and a
host of economic and workforce development programs. DTAE
provides a unified system of technical education, customized
business and industry training and adult education with programs
that use the best available technology and offer easy access to
lifelong education and training for all adult Georgians and
corporate citizens. This system will be part of a seamless
education process for Georgia in which students can transfer
credits efficiently as they advance from secondary schools to
technical colleges and to the university system. |

Georgia Virtual Technical College's Online Work Ethics -
Many of the activities and lessons used on the work ethics
curriculum have been adapted by online instructors across the
state of Georgia for use with online courses. This adapted and
new information has been gathered and developed in order to
deliver the work ethics curriculum to online students. |

The
Work Ethic Site - This web site, developed by Dr. Roger Hill
at the University of Georgia, provides a central resource for
materials related to work ethic, affective work competencies,
and employability skills for work force development. It is
designed to serve both educators and human resource
professionals. Available materials include on-line lessons for
use in education and training, two self-scoring work ethic
inventories, a history of work ethic, information about
available work ethic curriculum materials, and links to other
work ethic resources. |
